Faizul and Atiah Part 1

The solemnization took place on Friday evening at Atiah's home in PJ. So my family and I went to Malacca first on Thursday so that we could shorten the travelling time from Pontian to PJ by half. That morning, i had to paksa the groom to wear the inai. At first, keluar la semua sunnah Nabi dan hukum inai from him. So Yuyul and I had to assure him, we wear the inai so that everyone will recognise and identify the groom. No more than that. Thanx to this Indian henna, his three left fingers were all red.





Dengan taik abab, Alieya was watching his uncle patiently.

Then, off we go to PJ to Atiah's grandad house. It is sort of a pit stop for my relatives and us to meet. We gathered there to wait for everyone from as far as Spore and Kedah to arrive for Faizul's big day. There, barulah ktrg siapkan the groom-to-be.



Yuyul and I became instant mak andams. It was an enormous task to cover up all his jerawats and scars. But we survived. He actually looks quite decent.. Hehe  but dont tell him that.

When the akad was about the begin, seram gak. I was nervous for him. Before this, banyak kali gak suruh dia berlatih akad depan ktrg, but he refused. Nevertheless, Faizul said the akad confidently. Even the Tok Kadi said, "Wah bersemangat sekali". We laughed our heads out. And once again, he proved to us that we should just trust him.

Countdown to Merlin Series 5

Yeay...the wait is over. One more day,  u guys....

My favourite old man is here....again..

It starts tomorrow on BBC. i guess we Malaysians can watch it on early Sunday morning. Hope Merlinjunkie will not disappoint us this year. We are counting on u. Keep the magic secret!

A really bad day.... literally

Hari ini dalam sejarah...

This is the first time I was late for work..

People say there will always be a first time rite..

Every weekdays, my alarm goes off at 5.00 and 5.30 a.m.. As usual i will be half awake to prepare myself to be fully awake. Haaha

Then, my alarm will go off again at 6.00, 6.15 and 6.30 (in case i sleep like a log).Hehe

But....

Today, my alarm successfully went off at 5.00 and 5.30 a.m. and I've successfully half woken up and i continue to sleep again... konon nak tidur2 ayam jerr.

And then, at 5.57 a.m, my phone died. i forgot to recharge it last nite. So i continue sleeping like a happy log until..........................

until.....................

until.....................

until 9.00 a.m!!!!

Bloody hell. Ooopss.. Bangun dengan sangat terkejut. Tengok luar dah terang giler... semacam je terang dia. Tgk hp, hp dh mati abis. My mind froze at that moment. Eh, hari apa ni? Sabtu ke Jumaat. (berdoa kalau la hr Sabtu). Then i saw my hanged baju kurung which i ironed last nite. Then, it hit me... OMG!!!

I have a Year 3 class at that time. As quick as a lightning, i charged my hp and called my best fren, Kak Adah who happens to be a new Pemangku GPK 1 this week. I asked her what to do. Should I get a MC or a CRK? She laughed and asked me to go to school asap.

Then, terus g mandi. I arrived at school at 9.40 a.m and went straight to my Year 6 class. Muke confident je msuk klas.

Jenuh kene gelak ngan sume cikgu lepas tuh... tapi hari ni saya balik lambat. konon nak bayar balik 2 jam lambat.  Tapi lepas setengah jam... arrgggh MALAS... Saya balik dulu... Minta maaf kawan2... minta maaf murid2... cikgu anda bersalah...

British Invasion

Hello there mate!!


To kill the extra time during this festive seasons, i indulge myself with some new DVDs.


To celebrate angin-angin Olympics and Paralympics yang masih ditiup2, let's check out some British's merchandise..


As far as I know, British series yang i pernah layan cuma Merlin and cite doctor yang takut darah tu.. What's the title???? Haaahhh Doc Martin. Yng kat astro tu...Downtown Abbey, Doctor Who and Skins. Tak pernah layan. I dont know why. Maybe the the dull pictures... maybe the accent...


So, i decided to venture out. Let's see how they fare.. I bought myself some Big Ben's collections.

Sherlock (Season 1 & 2)

Hmmm, if you are a super fan of the CSI franchise or the crime investigation series like I am, maybe you should check it out. Obviously, it is about the famous Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick, Dr John Watson. Just imagine the modern Sherlock Holmes who is living among us.


The villains,... I must say.. not exactly the kind of criminal in Criminal Minds and CSI. unique...with British flavours..


I kinda like it. After watching it, it made me realised how little things we can read from other people. I give Sherlock 3/5 stars.

Bedlam (Season 1 & 2)

Ok, I picked this series just becoz how cute the lead actor is. Didnt know what it's all about. Dont even know it is a British series. This is Ghost Whisperer kind of thing. The cutie pie lad( hahaha how British did I sound) just came out from a psych ward coz apparently he could see ghost since he was a kid. He then moved to his cousin's apartment. You can guess it by now. It used to be an asylum and of course full of angry and feisty ghosts.

The story line is great. The mystery of the asylum and who was the mastermind keeps me on my toe. I give Bedlam 4/5 stars and a bonus star coz Theo James is super delicious!!!

My raya 2012

Hokey... mood raya mmg takde dis year. Hahaha bukan dah lame ke mmg takde mood? Hihihi...



After losing my grandmother a few years back, the raya mood will never be the same again. Our raya routine was still fresh in my mind. Every year, we will go back to Mcpherson like 2 a.m. in the morning. Macam Singapore tu dua belas jam nak sampai kan. My dad la. He's like the arch nemesis of traffic jam. Naik panas telinga kalau ada dalam kete dengan dia masa jam. Ada je nak disalahkan. Sultan la. Goh Chok Tong la. My mom la. So we decided to go early gile. Tapi best gak. Rasela macam video klip Balik Kampung by Sudirman. Kalau tak mmg tak rase la. Itulah penangan kampung dua dua belah dekat sangat. Hihihi



 My late grandma would wait for us. Aww just realised how much i miss her now. Then my ever hungry villain siblings and I would attack her fridge and terkemut-kemut mintak vitagen and chocolates dalam fridge dia. Ada nyonya jual vitagen a few units away from her flat. So stock vitagen mmg sentiasa ada. The next morning, she would cook us her signature dish which was Nasi Goreng Merah before the raya prayers. Tapi perggghhh. Even my mom's pun blm sampai standard kesedapan my grandma's. Nevertheless, masih sedap gak Ibu!!!



Then, acara memenuhkan flat bermula. Imagine, a flat of two rooms and a bathroom filled with 9 comels sizes families. Dah takde excuse me...excuse me dah. mmg kalau nak jalan mmg kena lalu celah2 kelengkang org.(i exaggerate skit tu)  Then, acara mengumpul green packets. Ni mmg muahhh favourite. Apesai? Sbb duit tu kalu tukau duit kita..... walllllaaaaa!!! Kayo makcik tiap kali raye!! 2 kali ganda!!



So, after her passing, my uncles and aunts decided to sell the flat after some time. So sad. The maintenance fee is outrageous. So after that, raye never felt the same again....



So, kesimpulannya...raya tahun ni adalah sgt boring. Period. Lg kene buat klas tambahan kat skolah dan tuisyen lagi Hwarrghhh. Tahun ni raya rmh sedara yg paling dekat je. Lepas tu balik rmh kunci gate and grill. Budak kecit2 beri salam buat dono je dan teruskan mutekan TV. kekonon tkde org kt rmh. Jahat kan.... Huahahahah



So this some of us.... some could not made it.
